In the distance a lonely siren sounds strong. Also, distant screams and a cry of a baby who needs its mother.
I get up and run to the door. I run down the lonely path towards the shelter.
I hear a bomb whistling towards the ground. I run, not wanting to get hit. It lands a long way in front of me, but the blast still pushes me back. I feel someone catch me. I couldn’t feel anything apart from that.
